Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM), challenges teams of students to clarify, analyze, and propose solutions to open-ended problems. The contest attracts diverse students and faculty advisors from over 500 institutions around the world.

Google PageRank Model
PageRank是Google之所以成功的最重要算法之一，也是一个经典的数学模型。
最近，Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology的Kurt Bryan教授在SIAM Review的Education Section发表了一篇文章 "The $25,000,000,000" Eigenvector, The Linear Algebra Behind Google"。这篇文章从线性代数的角度非常生动的讲述了PageRank算法，是学习线性代数和数学模型的很好的资料，另外，文章同时提供了相应的Maple和Mathematica程序。

Los Alamos National Laboratory--Mathematical Modeling and Analysis
美国洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室(Los Alamos National Laboratory, LANL)是属于美国能源部的国家实验室，由加利福尼亚大学运作，位于新墨西哥州的洛斯阿拉莫斯。该实验室是世界上最大的多学科研究机构之一。该实验室也是美国设计核武器的两个机构之一。

Everybody's Problems

IMA Mathematical Modeling in Industry X
