And may there be no moaning of the bar, 沙洲不闻浪拍岸，
When I put out to sea,　出海登船，

But such a tide asmoving seems asleep, 汹涌潮水似已眠，
Too full for sound and foam, 水流声声响，泡沫滚翻，
When that which drew from out the boundless deep　深海涌出　　
Turns again home. 复流返。　　

 

Twilight andevening bell,暮色钟声晚，
And after that the dark!黑暗一片！
And may there be no sadness of farewell, 辞别不见悲伤感，
When I embark;　离岸登船；


For through from out our borne of Time and Place　　虽误地点和时间
The flood may bear me far, 　潮水也将携吾远，
I hope to see my Pilot face to face　沙洲过后，
