不能读懂女性暗示的男性更易进行性侵犯

　　The 2000 report by the Department of Justice in the US shows that17.6 percent of American women are the victims of a completed orattempted rape at some point in their lives. The finding that sexualaggression is associated with problems processing women's cues doesn'texcuse these attacks, study researcher Teresa Treat, a psychologist atthe University of Iowa, said in a statement。

　　"But if we can better understand how women's cues might bemisinterpreted, we'll be better able to address the difficulties of someyoung men that can result in such negative consequences," Treat said。

　　The study turned out that the men were pretty good in general atremembering girls who'd shown interest, especially if they were prettyand provocatively dressed. But not all of the participants were equallyskilled at remembering the women's body language. Those who had been infrequent serious relationships did better at remembering the women'soriginal expressions, while those whose surveys revealed them to besexually aggressive did worse。

　　While the study suggests a link between ability to remember awoman's interest and sexual experience, researchers aren't yet sure howthe two are related. Sexual aggression may cloud men's memory of whatwomen really want, or an inability to properly read women might lead tosexual aggression. Other factors are almost certainly involved,according to the researchers。

　　研究表明，男性一般都很善于记住那些做出感兴趣暗示的女孩，尤其是那些长相漂亮和穿着挑逗的女孩。但是并不是所有参与调查者都一样善于记住女性的身势语。长期处于正常严肃的两性关系中的男性能够很好地记住女性做出的暗示，但是调查显示倾向于性侵犯的男性不能很好地记住女性做出的暗示。

　　研究者说，虽然研究表明记住女性喜好的能力和性经验之间有某种联系，但是他们还不能确定两者是如何联系在一起的。性侵犯可能使男性不清楚女性到底想要什么，或者不能准确读懂女性暗示的男性可能会对她们进行性侵犯。另外，还有其他因素也会导致性侵犯。
