　　这一数字相当惊人，但与石油公司和汽车厂商等用电大户相比，这家科技巨头的能耗并不算高。

　　除用电量外，谷歌还公布了其他与能源消耗和碳排放有关的数据。

　　截至2010年，谷歌的数据中心共拥有90万台服务器。有人担心，这些设备可能引发环境问题。为此，谷歌公布多项能耗数据，以打消人们的疑虑。

　　此外，谷歌还试图证明YouTube等依赖远程数据中心的服务对环境的友好程度，远远超过了DVD等传统服务。
