Reuters今年在伦敦举行的《品醇客》世界葡萄酒大奖赛上（Decanter World Wine Awards），宁夏贺兰晴雪酒庄出品的加贝兰葡萄酒（波尔多式混酿）获得了“中东、远东和亚洲地区售价在10英镑以上红葡萄酒”的大赛金奖。

据《品醇客》杂志介绍，评委称加贝兰葡萄酒口感柔顺，高雅，成熟又不浮华。贺兰晴雪酒庄出品的2008年解百纳赤霞珠（Cabernet Sauvignon）红葡萄酒获得了大赛银奖。

《品醇客》杂志的年度葡萄酒评选大赛是业内最受欢迎的比赛。今年共有来自41个国家的12,252支葡萄酒参赛。超过25个国家的专家担任评委，史蒂芬•斯珀里尔（Steven Spurrier）担任评委会主席。斯珀里尔曾领导1976年一场名为“巴黎的裁决”的备受争议的品酒大赛，在那场比赛中，美国加州的葡萄酒和知名法国葡萄酒曾同台对决。

其它获奖的亚洲国家包括：印度苏拉酒庄（Sula Vineyard）出品的2010年长相思（Sauvignon Blanc）获得了大赛银奖。苏拉酒庄位于孟买东北面约173公里处的纳希克（Nashik）。日本Grace Wine酒庄出品的Koshu Kayagatake获得了大赛银奖。这款葡萄酒是用日本甲州（Koshu）葡萄酿造的。甲州葡萄是日本当地品种，在日本以外地区并不知名。

泰国的葡萄酒也获得了一些奖项，其中位于曼谷东北部阿索克山谷（Asoke Valley）的GranMonte酒庄出品的几支葡萄酒获得了大赛银奖。

但如果你就此认为亚洲的葡萄酒能和法国顶级酒庄的红酒比肩的话，那么听听大赛组织者的话吧：高达70%的参赛葡萄酒获得了奖项。
