高三去美国:带着孩子去旅行：提示和灵感

好吧，我不想说谎，我有点担心。

Thursday we’re getting on a plane to Toronto for Gwynn’s cousin’s wedding. We’re flying with BOTH kids.

星期四，我们登上飞往多伦多的航班去参加格温表兄的婚礼，还要带着两个孩子。

Now I know Gwynn and I are bigger, stronger and more agile than both kids but I still find the prospect of this all going terribly wrong a little intimidating. But I’m sure it’ll be fine, in fact I’m sure it’ll be fun!

我知道，和另外两个孩子相比，我们块头大些，更强壮些，也更机灵些。不过，我仍然预感事情会向着不好的方向发展。可我仍然确定，它会有转机，会变得很有趣。

In trying to make it as successful a trip as it can be I’ve been looking to some of my favorite sites to try and find some guidance, comfort and reassurance that it will all end well.

Rachel has some great ideas for packing and organizing kids stuff for a trip.

“When you pack your kid’s suitcase for a vacation or summer camp, place each day’s complete outfit into a large  ziploc bag. Have one more bag for an extra day. It makes it so much easier for kids to get dressed when they don’t have to dig through all the jumbled clothes in their suitcase.”

Rachel also gives great advice on packing light and her biggest time saving tip of having a toiletries bag ready to go at all times. She also has a pre-trip checklist that I’ll certainly use as inspiration for creating my own.

Amanda has a great series on family vacation planning. The third article in the series is Don’t Forget To Take … She has a great list of items, most of them I routinely forget such as band-aids, hand sanitizer, and maps. She has a great checklist as well for things to pack. It’s pretty comprehensive and largely covers what we’ll need.

阿曼达对家庭度假计划有着一系列的计划。这个系列的第三篇文章就是“易漏物品清单”。她列了一串的项目，其中的大部分都是我习惯忘掉的，比如创可贴、洗手液和地图。同时，她还列出来应该打包的物品。这份清单想当复杂，几乎涵盖了我们需要的全部。

I have to include Adam on this list as my source of inspiration that everything will turn out fine. He and his wife Courtnay flew half way around the world from the US to Australia with their 16 month old daughter! I’ve been following their story and was happy to hear that it all went well. I don’t know if Gwynn and I would be brave enough to do a day and half of travel with our two boys just yet but I’m pretty confident that we can manage 3 hours.

我必须要提到一个叫亚当的人，他是我确信一切都会好起来的动力的源泉。他和妻子科特妮，以及16个月大的女儿，从美国飞到澳洲，几乎跨越了半个地球！我一直很关注他们的故事，并且很开心知道他们一切顺利。我不知道我和格温有没有足够的勇气和我们两个男孩旅行一天半，不过我确信我们可以一起旅行3小时。
