might also explain why bridge does not always attract the number of players that it should.
1. Ignore new arrivals coming to your table
2. Continue a discussion about the last hand while they are there
3. Ask what an alert means and say “Who does that?”!
4. Ask what the alert means and say “Never heard of it!”
5. Ask “What type of system do you call that?”
6. Ask “Where did you get that idea?” – You can’t do THAT!
7. Ask “Don’t know of it – who on earth invented it?”
8. Don’t answer questions properly, just say Multi-2 or Strong
9. Don’t answer questions fully, just say pre-emptive
10. Don’t answer questions, just say weak, strong, light or whatever
11. Avoid any question and say that you “thought everyone knew”
12. Ask out of turn so your partner can ask instead
13. Before the Director comes say what you can to help partner
14. Break the rules when you think you can get away with it
15. Play very slowly  – then put the pressure on as time runs out
16. Insist that the game be bid and started when the buzzer goes
17. Delay, delay and delay to great advantage – play tactics
18. Never bid in tempo, therefore giving partner favourable signals
19. Moan, writhe or give other body signals
20. Delay your bid to give a signal – bugger being “in tempo”
21. Fake hesitation during play – you got ‘em you beauty!
